The Time Portals Series

Time Portals of Norwich (published 2020)

Cassie Fox's life has never been simple. She sees ghosts, hears disembodied voices, and events from history have a habit of rising up to haunt her.

Visiting Castle Mall shopping centre to meet friends Georgia and Jason in the hot summer of 2018, Cassie is transported back to the early 1990s in the company of a woman called Kay, who not only looks familiar but claims she's encountered Cassie many times before. But what secrets does Kay hold, who is the mysterious bus man, and exactly who or what is chasing them across Norwich's past?

This is only the start of an adventure that takes in several famous Norwich fires, local ghosts and that bus that fell into the chalk caves on Earlham Road!

Time's Revenge (published 2022)

After her adventures in Time Portals of Norwich, Cassie Fox makes a promise to both her grandfather and her best friend, Georgia, never to time travel again.

So, how did she end up stranded in the Stone Age with her recent memories wiped and her time travelling abilities gone?

Is she being punished? Did she press the big red button? Will she ever see her grandfather and friends again? And what has Robert Kett and his 1549 rebellion got to do with it all?

Of more immediate concern, though, are the ominous pains in her stomach.

Time's Paradox (published 2023)

Having returned from the deep past, Cassie is angry that her life seems to have been constantly manipulated.

Her mind is buzzing with questions and she is on a quest to find answers to them all. How did the device arrive in the Stone Age in the first place? What is the real story behind that scar on her cheek? How is Jason's missing father, Patrick, connected to her 6-year-old self's nightmares of events from 1549, despite her not living through those events until she was seventeen?

Finally, who is the mysterious old lady who not only seems to know all about Cassie's ability to time travel, but also appears to be tracking Kay's trips through the portals?

Time Quest (to be published in 2025/6)

It's a few weeks before Christmas 2000 and Debbie's dad, Graham Patterson, has gone missing on his way home from work. Her mum, Tammy, has gone to pieces over his disappearance and the only person who seems to have any idea of where he might be is Debbie's grandmother, Nanny Mary.

However, Mary can't talk to Tammy about this as she has the minor inconvenience of being dead. She, along with her husband, lost their lives in a car accident three years earlier.

Then, a sword is dropped over the front garden wall. The same sword that Kay had used to cut off Laurence's head in Time Portals of Norwich. Mary tells Debbie that the sword is now hers and she will need it to find her missing father and, to locate him, she will need to take trips through the portals herself.
